No fewer than 4,425 students of the Nigerian Law School (NLS) who took part in the Final Bar Examinations, conducted in August 2019, have passed, the Council for Legal Education said on Thursday.
According to the Council, about 894 students of those who wrote the examination failed.
A statement by the Director-General of the NLS, Prof. Isa Chiroma (SAN), out of the 5,689 students who took the examinations, 4,425 were successful, 319 had conditional pass while 894 failed.
He said the successful lawyers would be called to bar from November 26 to 28, 2019 in Abuja.
Chiroma added that 2.58 percent had First Class, 13.03 percent had Second Class Upper while 5.61 percent of the students had conditional pass, and 15.71 percent failed.
