The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Adamawa state has sworn-in newly elected local government executives with a call on them to be credible in all their dealings.
Speaking after administering the oaths of office to newly elected executives of the part, the state party chairman, Alhaji Yahya Hamman Julde urges them to discharge their duties swiftly and amicably, so as to ensure success of the party in the forthcoming general elections and beyond.
Mr. Hamma Julde stated that the ADC is not just a party but a beacon of Justice and hope – that has come with policies and strategic programs which will be impactful and directly touch the lives of citizens of the state.
The state chairman, however challenged the newly sworn-in executive members to ensure only credible, competent and reliable candidates emerge as flag bearers for the success and integrity of the party. He lauds the party supporters and officials for a warmth reception been thrown to the delegation of the party.
Hamma Julde also called on them to mobilize and bring more people into the party so as to win a free hitch election.
The chairman therefore used the forum to announce the kick-off of sales of forms for prospective aspirants under the platform of the party, while assured that forms for women aspirants are free of charge, except for payment of expression of interest forms.
Also speaking at the occasion, the vice chairman southern senatorial zone of the party, Alhaji Shehu So’o, admonishes the inaugurated executives to ensure success of ADC in the forthcoming general election.
The oath of office/allegiance was administered by Barrister Muhammad Sadiq.
