Adamawa records five new COVID-19 cases Nigeria’s total now 6401

The Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has disclosed that Adamawa State has recorded five new cases of the coronavirus disease.

In its latest update, on May 19, NCDC puts total tally of the disease to 26. Before the new tally, the state has recorded 21 cases.

The latest scenario indicated that the state now has 13 active cases after thirteen patients including the index case have dully recovered and discharged from the isolation center.

So far, the state has not yet recorded any fatality of from the disease.

Nigeria has so far recorded 6401 confirmed COVID-19 cases out of which 1734 cases have been discharged with 192 fatalities in 34 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

The 226 new cases are reported from 16 states- Lagos (131), Ogun (25), Plateau (15), Edo (11), Kaduna (7), Oyo (6), FCT (5), Adamawa (5), Jigawa (4), Ebonyi (4), Borno (4), Nasarawa (3), Bauchi (2), Gombe (2), Enugu (1), Bayelsa (1)
