Atiku’s son, 2 Bindow commissioners among 23 nominees sent to Adamawa assembly by Fintiri

The eldest son of former Vice President Adamu Atiku Abubakar, as well as two commissioners that served under governor Bindow, were among the 23 names sent to Adamawa State house of Assembly by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

The two commissioners who served under Bindow are: Umar Iya Daware and Ibrahim Mijinyawa, both are strong political associates of the former vice president, Atiku Abubakar.

Speaker of the state house of Assembly has Rt. Hon Aminu Iya Abbas read the names of the nominees during Wednesday’s plenary.

The list of the nominees which cut across the 21 local governments of the state include:

  2. Elijah Tumba – Michika
  3. Dr Ishaya John Dabari – Michika
  4. Barr. Sunday Mathew – Mubi North
  5. Prof Isa Abdullahi – Mubi South
  6. Hassan Kaigama – Maiha
  7. Dr. Umar Garba – Hong
  8. Lami Patrick – Gombi
  9. Abdullahi Prambe – Song
  10. Usman Yahya Diyajo – Girei
  11. Umaru Iya Daware – Fufore
  12. Ibrahim Mijinyawa – Yola North
  13. Mustapha Musa Jika – Yola south
  14. Sanusi Faruk – Toungo
  15. Bappa Dalhatu Isa – Ganye
  16. Aloysius Babadoke – Jada
  17. Adamu Atiku – Jada
  18. Hon Shuaibu Audu – Mayo Belwa
  19. Iliya James – Demsa
  20. Dr. Dishi Khobe – Numan
  21. 21 Hon. Justin’s Nkom – Lamurde
  22. Hon Wilbina Jackson – Guyuk
  23. Adamu Titus – Shelleng

Also briefing newsmen Hon Jafet Kefas, deputy majority leader and house committee chairman on information said the house will commence screening of the nominees next week.
