Young Morris, an intrepid and valiant hunter who is involved in many dangerous adventures including fighting the dreaded Boko Haram insurgents has been killed by bandits in Kaduna, FOMBINATIMES has learnt.
Information pieced by this paper revealed that Morris who is the head of operations of the Adamawa State Hunters Association was felled in gun duel with bandits in a Kaduna forest.
Reports indicated that apart from involvement in the war against Boko Haram insurgency, Morris has been lately involved in operations to rid the country of the menace of kidnapping and banditry in its North western part.
Confirming the death of Morris, Salihu Wobkenso, head of administration of Adamawa hunters association said Morris has been killed in active service to his fatherland in Kaduna.
”This is sad news to hunters. Young Morris, one of our hunters in Adamawa State from Guyuk LGA has been overpowered by cattle rustlers in Kaduna State in the early hours of today,” he said.
Mr Wobkenso did not give more details but said all hunters in the state were mourning the death.
