Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has announced a 3-day state wide mourning in honour of Late Hama Bachama, Homun Honest Stephen Irmiya, Kwire-Mana Kpafrato II who died on Sunday.
Fintiri in a statement signed by his Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou said, that the 3-day mourning period takes effect from Monday 29th June, 2020 across the state.
According to him, the 3-day mourning period is in honour of Late Hama Bachama, the First Class Chief of Bachama Kingdom who died on Sunday after a brief illness.
He further directed that flags be flown at half mast begining from work hours of Monday till Wednesday in memory of the departed Monarch.
The late Monarch died at the age of 66 on Sunday and was since buried in line with traditional rites.
