Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has called on the Muslim Ummah to reflect on the good virtues of personal sacrifice as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim, in the forthcoming Eld-El-Kabir Sallah celebration.
A statement signed by the Director-General Media and Communications to the governor, Solomon Kumangar said while wishing Muslims a joyous occasion, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri reminded everyone on the need to remain each other’s keeper as the anchor for peaceful co-existence.
The Adamawa State Governor said Eid-El-Kabir is a time for forgiveness, sober reflection and sacrifice which should also be dedicated to prayers for love and peace to thrive, throughout the Nation.
“EID-EL-KABIR is a time to usher in spirituality, peace, dedication, honesty, as we match towards a common destiny” Fintiri said.
The Governor prayed God to spare the lives of Citizens to witness more returns of the blessed Day.
He wished all State Pilgrims in the Holy Land a successful Arafat exercise and thereafter journey mercies back home.
