Senator representing Adamawa central, a gubernatorial aspirant under the platform of African Democratic Congress (ADC) AbdulAziz Murtala HammanYero Nyako, surprises ADC state executives, as he handed over two newly branded ADC Sienna vehicles to the state secretariat in Yola.
The Senator also donate one Highlander Jeep to newly elected Adamawa state ADC chairman, Alh. Hamma Julde.
Senator who delivered the goodwill message at the end of the state congress expressed that today is a happiest day for him and his supporters. FOMBINA TIMES has learnt.
“A day to show gratitude to the Almighty God who made this event peacefully and successfully”. He also said that many did not believed ADC will reach the epitome of success as it has today. They all see ADC as a dream of few desperate people but reverse is the case”. He added
While addressing the newly elected state official earlier at the party secretariat, the senator who was overwhelmed by the impressive turn out of the people stated that it is time to put governance right in Adamawa State.
“Adamawa State requires urgent attention and liberation from the hand of All Progressive Congress (APC). It is time for us to rise and put things right in our land.
Mismanagement of State’s funds should stop and be channeled to meaningful projects and youths empowerment.
Vote for a credible candidate; one who is prepared to genuinely rescue this state from disintegration. Who have people interest in their heart not personal interest?” Senator Nyako said.
“Conducting a free, fair and transparent primary election is part of my commitment to assure you that this great party ADC is entirely different from the one we decamped from.” He added.
The retired naval commander said his father, former Governor, Murtala Nyako expressed his grievances to all party concern regarding to illegal Congresses that was conducted few months back so as to repair the integrity of the party APC in Adamawa State.
Stressing that despite old age, his father, relentlessly travels all over the country and met with APC stakeholders but to no avail. Party destiny is in the hands of the people and it’s unfortunate that the efforts of the people are not recognised.
“Unlike the other political party that will imposed candidate on you, I gave you six weeks to go back home, discuss among yourself and pick some worthy candidates for other membership positions. I promised to abide by your choices.” He added.
Senator Nyako further stated that as APC primaries draw closer, party officials and candidates are in constant fear of the repercussions for conducting unjustifiable congresses which resulted to mass decamping to African Democratic Congress (ADC).
The newly elected ADC state chairman Alh. Yahya Hamma Julde, expressed his profound gratitude to Almighty God for choosing him to lead the ADC to government house.
Alh. Hamma Julde also appreciated the entire Congress committee for their untiring effort for conducting a free and fair Congresses all over the state.
