President Muhammadu Buhari has called on Nigerians to come out en masse and participate in the supplementary elections scheduled for 17 states on Saturday March 23, 2019.

The Presidency has condemned calls for President Muhammadu Buhari to rig the forthcoming supplementary elections in some states.

The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, is currently having a narrow lead in the ongoing collation of results in his home Adamawa State.

"From Taraba to Sokoto, to the South-south, people don’t feel secure until they see the military. I am pleased to make the increase in salary and allowances in the hope that it will increase the performance index of the police and strengthen Nigeria’s internal security system.”

Lawan, a diehard supporter of the Peoples’ Democratic party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar took the stunt on Wednesday and climbed the billboard hanger to challenge his friends who argued that Atiku will not be distracted a second for him even if it means that he’s dying.

Lawal faro travelled 120 kilometres to the state capital and climbed the tallest billboard, the only condition that will make him come down in one piece is the presence of Atiku himself, or someone close to Atiku who will connect the two on phone. One of these must happen before midnight, which is the deadline for the 12 hours grace Lawal gave Atiku.

President Muhammadu Buhari finally, took to his Twitter handle and responded to the criticism saying he didn’t walk to prove his fitness, rather, to let his people who came out in large numbers see him.
